TESTIMONIALS

Former educator Rita Mae Pearson said "every kid needs a champion". With Miss Raechel and Miss Teri, you have those champions combined with a huge heart for students. They’re a beautiful team that works together to make sure every child has what they need to thrive and get the best possible learning experience. They serve as a compassionate voice for students and families, and always keeps what’s best for the student to grow in mind. At the forefront of their work, is a genuine compassion for all students, with specific expertise for students with special abilities. They partner with schools and families to ensure a voice for every child, every day.

Years in community with Teri and Raechel has taught me so much about the processes involved with advocating for our students' brightest futures. They have years of direct experience in-classrooms teaching students of all identities. They know how to create and implement effective accommodations, and know what legal protections to invoke. They are two caring, intelligent, and passionate leaders able to support parents and teachers as well. I highly recommend working with them for consultation, direct advocacy, and other special education pursuits!

I have known Teri Jones since 2011 when Michael was 5 years old and started school. Teri was instrumental in getting Michael what he needed for school. Without her assistance and support, Michael would have been placed in the corner of a classroom and would not have received the education he deserved and be the person he is today. Throughout Mike’s school career, Teri has been an invaluable asset in his educational journey. She has been an advocate and a support for me during IEP meetings, especially with understanding the complicated language in those meetings. With her guidance, I gained a deeper understanding of the educational language and curriculum, empowering me to advocate effectively for my son’s needs. Teri has always believed in Michael and his potential.  She has fought to ensure that Michael received the supports and services he needed to reach that potential within the general education classroom.
